Runometry is an independent price comparison site for sports gear: outdoor, fitness, running, trail running, triathlon and hybrid training — shoes, GPS watches, heart-rate sensors, headphones, headlamps — with more comparable gear to come, such as bivouac equipment. It brings together the offers of 18 partner retailers for 1,803 models from 64 brands, in 15 countries and 10 languages.
Prices are updated several times a day, and each product page lists the offers of the retailers that deliver to the visitor’s country. Prices are shown without delivery by default, as shipping terms vary from one item to another; a setting shows them with an estimated delivery cost. The lowest price is highlighted at the top, chosen on price alone. Beside the price, Runometry builds a full technical sheet for each product (weight, stack, drop, foam, battery life, screen…) from sourced data, and lets the buyer compare models side by side before deciding. It keeps each product’s price history and sends an e-mail when a price drops or a size is back in stock.
Its Runometry Index scores running shoes and GPS watches out of 100 against the models they compete with, from published facts only: no rating, no review, and every point is explained. Runometry is free for visitors and earns a commission from partner retailers when a visit ends in a purchase; the price paid stays the same.
